How many seniors out there like country dancing?
country dancing rocks. love it. especially line dancing.
Reply:its fun to do haven't done it in forever
Reply:Two-step, Texas two-step, waltz, polka, scotisch (sp) -- ain't the opportunities nor barn dances that there used to be.
Reply:I love country dancing but seldom get a chance to participate. I know the Cotton Eyed Joe and once upon a time we could do the Ten Step. Don't know the others you mentioned. My husband and I have never enjoyed the honky-tonk atmosphere of drinking and cigarette smoke. We do get out there and dance at the wedding and anniversary parties.
Reply:I love to two step and do some of the line dances. I wish that I were better at this.........

They aren't just jumping around ...they are keeping time with the music. You can hear it in the taps on their shoes
Reply:I do so enjoy country dancing. Best of it is line dancing does not require a partner!
Reply:I don't know anything about country dancing, but I like Scottish Country dancing (and I am in New Zealand)
Reply:i use to but it is an art like most everything else is dying a slow death!!!!
Reply:The wife and I used to go dancing, country was the kind we liked best.
Reply:I'm with Harley Lady...I've been taking East Coast Swing lessons for a while now. I'm thinking about taking "two step" lessons next.....then the Rumba. My mom is 85 years old and recently I moved her in with me as she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She is now on Hospice. Dancing is the only thing that is getting me through this.
Reply:I love country dancing Sway , Blue Rose and Ten Step....Is there any other kind of dancing!!
Reply:Yes, the ex and I took private dance lessons for 3 years because I wanted to learn the East coast swing. We liked it so much that we ended up learning all the country dances also.
