Question for both illinois and mizzou fans?

i know illinois is in the rose bowl and mizzou is in the cotton bowl but shouldnt Mizzou be in the rose bowl and illinois be in the cotton bowl?





I think it should be like this:





cotton bowl: illinois vs arkansas





Rose Bowl: USC vs Mizzou





And im an illini fan but i know when i see something wrong.

The Rose Bowl Committee has proven that we need a playoff system. Unfortunately for fans, it's also the RBC that holds all the cards and won't let it happen.





Their rationale that they want to "maintain the integrity of our traditional conference match-ups" is laughable.
Reply:Who cares about the Rose Bowl? USC would destroy either team....I'm a Notre Dame fan....so don't think I'm a USC fan, plus I'm from Chicago and consider myself a semi-Illini fan.

and the Rose Bowl has to invite a Pac 10 champion and the Big 10 champion or Big 10 at-large or Pac 10 at-large
