Why is it hard to find women's or juniors blue jeans that are 100% cotton.?

My favorite is the Levi's 518 bootcut low rise and I have a pair that is about 5 years old (my favorite) and they are 100% cotton and feel great. I have about 3 more of the same jeans, same size, same brand, same number but they now have spandex and/or nylon and the material doesn't feel the same as my other ones. I hate the stretchy jeans because they feel like they are not letting my skin breathe and I don't like the texture of the material. Does anyone know why all the women's jeans out there now have stretchy material and where I can find some Levi's that are like the old ones?

Many manufacturers have found that a single style of jean will be more appealing to more women if there is a strech in the denim using lycra. Women's body types are so different from one another and this is the simplest, cheapest way to deal with it. Otherwise the jeans would have to be cut on the bias which would waste fabric and probably not look as good anyway.

Scour some secand hand stores for the style you are looking for. You may find a pair that wasn't too "used".
Reply:Many of times eBay will have discontinued lines of clothes. Go to advanced search to pick your size, material and brand.Good luck!
Reply:you may have to go to men's jeans. super tight clothing seems to be back in fashion (I'm 38 so to me it's back) but now they have stretch in them so you can actually breathe in them. Try going to a Levi's website and seeing what they offer there or asking at a specialty jean store.
Reply:Check out thrift stores or EBAY
Reply:www.rawganique.com has 100% organic cotton jeans that are really soft. good luck
